Graphic elements are the building blocks of design but it is the design principles that are responsible for the overall composition of a design. In this activity, you will be able to explore the principles of design and gain a better understanding of them. The interaction between balance, unity, variety, proportion and rhythm in design will be explored.
Principles of design build on combining the different elements of design effectively. Let's look at each principle separately.
