About The Assignment:
Your task (with a partner) is to re-create the above animated eye GIF. To do this, you will need to modify the inside part of the eye image. See how every time the eye completes a "blink" cycle, you see different colours and/or patterns and/or images inside the eye itself.
It is up to you and your partner to decide what modifications to make to the inside of the eye.
You will use the same "Blinking_Eye_Practice.PSD" file from earlier. This time, you need to copy the four separate layers that make up the blinking cycle. You will have a total of 4 X 6 = 24 layers.
As a partnership, complete a set of 6 "blinking cycles." This means that each partner is responsible to design and complete 3 sets of eye blinks. Each "set" must look completely different (as shown in the finished example). Have fun, be creative. Practice your Photoshop skills.
We will loop the animated GIF to play endlessly. Follow the steps to turn your 24 layers into a new Frame Animation that we practiced last time.
Submit your finished .GIF to Google Classroom
The Steps to Follow:
1) Create a Storyboard to plan out ideas for each blinking set "design"
2) Open "Blinking_Eye_Practice.PSD" in Photoshop. Create the separate "sets" of layers to be converted into your animation "frames." You and your partner are responsible to create your own 4X3 = 12 layers. These are the number of layers to create three blinking "sets."
3) Create the Frame Animation and Export as GIF
4) Submit the following to Google Classroom:
