Principles of Animation
When you learn a new language or a new skill you always start with the basics. When animators first begin to develop their craft they also start with the basics. Animators follow rules when completing their animations. These rules, known as the 12 principles were first developed by animators at the Disney studio. These principles are used by animators to make their work more realistic and life-like.
