Activity 1:
Digital Literacy is a good place to start when beginning graphic design. Understanding what the different colour models, picture formats and digital terms mean will make you more comfortable completing the assignments and help you develop a better working knowledge of them.
Your Task:
Explore different colour modes, picture formats, photo manipulation tools, as well as gain knowledge in toolbox basics and other terminology you will be using throughout this course.
Participate in the interactive activity individually or with a peer.
Student Journal Entry:
You will be asked to write things from time to time in a journal or notebook for the course. You make use WORD and type your "journal" or keep it old school and write on paper. I may ask you to submit your "journal" from time to time in the course for assessment/evaluation.
Choose 10 terms from the multi-media activity to add to your journal.
Include a brief description of each term.
Remember this will be a good reference for you to use throughout the course.
