The doctor has ordered you to have two pills (together) everyday. He has given you two jars labeled J1 and J2, full with those pills. The pill look identical. You are suppose to take one pill from each of the jars everyday. But, one day, by mistake you take 2 pills from J1 and 1 pill from J2 and mix them together, and then you realize that now it is impossible to detect which two are from J1 and which one is from J2. And hence you can't even return them back to the jars also. Also you don't want to throw them away and again take out two fresh pills. Then, how would you follow the doctor's order without wasting the pills ? The doctor has ordered you to have two pills (together) everyday. 16-Ans- Simple, just take another pill from J2. Now you have 2 pills from J1 and 2 from J2, and you don't know which two are from J1 and which two are from J2 (and you don't need to know !).
Now, break each of the pills into two halves and take on half !
The remaining 4 halves you can take tomorrow !
