The presentation will cover the implementation and application of GPS technology within We Energies Gas Operations. We will discuss the handheld tool, the program on the tool, configuration of the data collected, the web viewer/repository used to view data, how our field employees and mappers use the data as well as a review of lessons learned. We will discuss the interface with GIS and how the data collected through GPS is improving the information that we are mapping as well as lessening the time from construction until having GIS updates completed. The presentation will include a live demo of the tool and data collection. - Please note the presentation content can be adjusted to fit the intended audience if desired.
