Bio: Dustin Has been with Frontier Precision since 2000 where he first started selling and training on Trimble surveying and mapping systems. While this technology has evolved, he has appreciated the new and innovative methods of data capture. Over the last several years he has has focused on several mobile capture methods that he would like to share with you using imagery and point clouds captured from a vehicle or UTV.

Mobile Data Capture with Trimble MX Series

In this session, attendees will be informed of the latest technologies utilized with mobile data capture. Imagine everything you see is referenced to a high degree of accuracy using LiDAR and 360 degree images positioned by high accuracy GNSS sensors. These 3 technologies and many others are combined to create a rich data set of information that can be captured at up to 60 MPH. / We will also discuss how to rapidly extract the information you need after utilizing Mobile Scanning Technology. This data extraction is often the most painstaking process, but we would like to demonstrate how to use the latest software offerings to expedite your deliverable.
