This workshop is for staff who are involved in facilitating learning in small groups. It will be an opportunity for you to explore and share strategies used in small group facilitation. We introduce the basic theory and principles underlying active learning in small group and group dynamics.
To develop participant’s facilitation skills in the context of small group teaching with medical undergraduates.
Identify the roles of a facilitator.
Apply key theories that underpin your small group facilitation approach.
Devise strategies to address small group facilitation challenges.
