Peer Observation of Teaching
Workshop Description
This introductory workshop supports our Peer Observation of Teaching Scheme and is for any member of staff who teaches and is looking for new ways to enhance their teaching practice. It provides the opportunity for you to explore good practice for observers and observees, with discussion on how to get the most out of a peer observation experience. Participants can then decide if they wish to participate in the peer observation scheme.
Aim
To develop participant’s understanding of effective peer observation practice and expectations of the scheme
LO's
Identify the expectations and requirements of the scheme.
Analyse good practice for both observers and observees.
Evaluate the benefits of engaging with the programme.
Outline what happens before, during and after peer observations.
