What to expect

Our half-day workshops cover the theory and practice of education in the context of undergraduate medical education, embedding key learning, teaching and assessment principles.

We use an interactive and experiential approach, modelling the concept of a learning cycle that includes not only factual knowledge and theory but also experience and reflection.

Our skills workshops have a limited capacity, and booking is on a first-come, first-served basis. Before you book onto a workshop please ensure as far as possible that you will be able to attend on the date in question. Click here for Booking FAQ's.

Please contact us (medstaffdev@sheffield.ac.uk) as soon as possible if you are unable to attend a booked workshop. This enables us to offer places to colleagues on the waiting list if the workshop is fully booked.
