During Safe Leigh in Module 6, Y7&8 students successfully completed their Online Safety Alliance certificate for Key Stage 3. The KS3 Online Safety Alliance Certificate equips students with knowledge and skills to navigate the online world safely. They learnt about online bullying, grooming (including radicalization), sexting, and the safe use of smartphones. The program also covers digital footprints, live streaming, gaming, and the consequences of poor online choices. Furthermore, students learn how to identify fake news, understand the impact of influencers, and report concerns or seek support. It was great to see so many students completing this and receiving R5's for their efforts.
Other year groups will complete their certification moving into next academic year.
