It has been a busy first year for me as Head of Curie College. I have enjoyed working with all the students, staff and parents in our Curie community and am grateful for the welcome Ms Morgan and I received when we came over at the start of this academic year. It is a year that has seen many triumphs, both within lessons an assemblies but also in the sporting fields and beyond.
First of all, HUGE congratulations to our Curie students who have retained the Reading Challenge trophy for the second year in a row! Well done! Reading is such an important part of academic success and it is pleasing to see us retain this trophy.

Miss Senior is retiring as Curie Admin having served the academy for 21 years. Miss Senior has worked with countless students for over two decades and has been an important part of the various colleges that she has worked for over that time. This photo is from an academy yearbook back when she first started here.
The college thanked her in our end of year assembly and we all wish her well in her retirement.
