Nurse Bio
This is my third year as the El Dorado Community School Nurse, but I have been working as a school nurse with SFPS since 2013. Prior to that, I spent many years working in the Neonatal Intensive care unit as well as Pediatric Intensive Care, Cardiac care, and spinal cord injury. I have been living in Santa Fe for 11 years, and both of my daughters attend El Dorado.
I have been a nurse for more than 25 years after starting very young with a special program for high school students in Albuquerque, which is where I grew up. I graduated and took my LPN boards and worked as a LPN while I put myself through RN school. I took classes at UNM, but ended up graduating from CNM, then finished my BSN through Chamberlain University.
When I am not working, I can usually be found doing something gymnastics related. I also enjoy working out, being outside and cheering for the Packers. (Go Pack Go!!)
