"It is important for all of us to appreciate where we come from and how that history has really shaped us in ways that we might not understand".
Sonia Sotomayor
I am originally from Atlanta, GA but have called Santa Fe my home for 25 years now. I have been teaching in Santa Fe for 21 years now. I have taught at Santa Fe High, Capshaw Middle School and now Eldorado Community School. For most of the time I have been teaching 8th grade U.S. History, but I have also taught 7th grade New Mexico History, 7th grade Language Arts, Algebra 1 and Special Education.
I received my B.A. in History from Georgia Southern University . After moving to Santa Fe I received my teaching credentials and M.A. in Secondary Ed. from the University of New Mexico.
I enjoy golf, live music, skiing and baseball (still a Braves fan!)
