Although I am new to Santa Fe I have been living in New Mexico since 1992. I began my career in teaching with an internship during college with Outward Bound who hired me after graduation to work with at-risk students in Baltimore Public schools and Maine. I hold degrees in Psychology & Fine Arts with a gifted endorsement and a Masters degree in Special Education. I have worked in public schools in Albuquerque since 2001 in a variety of general ed, special ed and gifted positions I love sharing a passion for inquiry through teaching and learning from students. I have three children who are thriving as young adults in Denver, Portland and the Czech Republic. My passions are hiking, climbing, backpacking, skiing, tennis and anything outdoors. I am excited to continue my career at SFPS after relocating here to shorten my husband's commute. El Dorado is a wonderfully welcoming community and I am lucky to be a part of it!
