I am thrilled to be starting my 10th year at El Dorado Community School and my 18th year with the Santa Fe Public Schools! This year I will be working three days a week primarily with the 1/2 combo class, 3rd grade, 6th grade and 8th grade. I am so grateful to have a full time school counselor (Mrs. Hemmig) to collaborate with in continuing to develop a comprehensive school counseling program.
After receiving my Master's degree in Marriage, Family and Child counseling from UCSB and Cal State Northridge, I moved to Italy with my husband and 3 month old daughter for a post-doc opportunity. We discovered Santa Fe in 1994. My son was born that year and I began work in the public schools several years later when my children started their school career.
Since then I have enjoyed working in several schools in town. When not at school, I enjoy skiing, hiking, cooking, yoga and listening to music.
