I am originally from Pennsylvania. I attended the University of Pittsburgh where I achieved my Bachelor's degree in Communication and then my Master's degree in Elementary Education. My first classroom teaching role was in the United States Virgin Islands, on St. Thomas. There, I was the 6th grade Mathematics and Earth Science teacher at Antilles School from 2009-2013. During this time I met my partner, Ashlee, who is also a teacher. We then moved to Santa Fe, NM where I taught 5th grade at El Dorado Community School from 2013-2015. Next, we moved to Pittsburgh, PA where I worked as a Garden Educator with a non-profit called Grow Pittsburgh. From 2015-2017, I coordinated school garden programs at Colfax School and Pittsburgh Montessori School. This past summer, my family decided to move back to Santa Fe. I am happy to be currently teaching 5th grade again at El Dorado Community School.
