Teacher Bio
I currently teach 6th and 7th grade Science for the 6/7 Academy Team. In the past, I have taught both Language Arts and Creative Writing, including a 4 year stint at Capshaw Middle School. I hold a K-8 Elementary and 7-12 Secondary license and am highly qualified to teach Science and Language Arts. I truly believe that teaching is not my profession, but my vocation. It is a privilege to impart something I love, to witness a-ha moments, and to watch a student walk out the door not only educated, but excited.
In my class, students can expect a variety of assignments in school and out, including hands-on investigations, data collection, written analysis, research and science projects, tests, etc. They should also expect to respect themselves, others, and the instructional environment while in my room.
