manipulate stacking order of layers

freeze a video (right click / Time / freeze frame)
mask a subject with the pen tool
apply effect to a layer (CC scatterize to grab and scatter the pixels of your subject)
effectively use keyframes, easy ease and keyframe velocity to make the particles look great
effectively use opacity to make the diffusion fade out nicely

take a video of yourself
against a wall
make sure to have blank video of the wall on the front and the back end of the video
camera should be still and at the same angle as when you walk in and snap your fingers
watch movie part 2
Create new composition called disintigration effect and save it in your E drive
create a 5 -10 second animation of you walking in and disintigrating
feel free to take creative liberties and do different actions. Just use the same concepts in AE
