Learning Objectives

Create a unique logo for yourself, family members or friend's business idea or a personal logo / brand
Understand the ideation and iteration process
Create, distort, and alter shapes
Create shapes with the pen tool, shape builder and by editing anchor points with the white arrow
Make use of multiple layers
Demonstrate that you get use the elements and principles of design to create a compelling logo design
Use what you know from colour theory to create a cohesive design that matches the esthetic of your logo/brand

Choose something to create a logo for
- It could be for yourself, a friend/family member, made-up brand etc.
- Use your initials (ie. DB) if you can't think of a company name
Create a minimum of 5 "digital sketches" to explore ideas
- Don't delete your ideas! Copy/Paste so you have a record of all of your designs and can expand on them.
Pick the strongest logo of the bunch and refine it.
When finished, export the following:
- Your digital sketches
- Your final logo
Post both to your digital portfolio along with the What I've Learned questions.
Publish and hand in to Google Classroom!
