Objectives:  Learn intermediate techniques of Flash Animation.

• Timeline, layering 

• Importing AI objects in layers for animation

• Efficient use of motion and shape tweens

• Breaking down bitmap images for use in flash

• Efficient use of Movie clips

Students may choose to do a variety of things to show there learning in flash and hopefully create a useful movie for one of the following reasons.  Groups should brainstorm ideas. Come up with a plan and submit it to Mr. Verbeek for an OK.  

1.  Music Video (suggested)

   • everybody loves music

   • read the lyrics

   • create an animation about the story

   • pay attention to syncing action, scenes, views with the music

2. Cartoon based satire movie to bring exposure to an important topic to you

   • 1. • you need to right content, dialogue

        • Politics, The environment, Social justice, Women’s rights, Racism 

3. Sports Animation

   • mountain biking, basketball, volleyball, althletics, skiing

4. Instructional Animation

   • 1. • Biology: osmosis, mitosis, meiosis

        • Proper techniques for exercises
