Learning Objectives

be able to shade a face with the gradient mesh tool
become familiar with the uses the process of using a clipping mask
- works with only two objects at once (one of the objects can be a grouped object)
- the top object clips the bottom object
use brushes and symbols to make eye lashes, eyebrows
succesfully draw with the pen and curvature tools
manipulate lines with the white arrow tool
add points to shapes with the add anchor tool
add shading with drawing, various brushes and opacity

use of clipping mask on the eyes to cut out part of the iris
- eyes include eyelashes, eyebrows, possible shadows and possible eyeliner
should include ears, nose, mouth, hair

Click on the download ⬇️ button in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
- If you don't see the download button, click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner and find "Download"
Go to File Explorer 📁, find the Downloads folder, and look for the file you just downloaded.
Click on the file, press CTRL + X (cut) on your keyboard.
Find the folder with your name on the E drive. In your AI folder, press CTRL + V to paste the file into your folder. Double click the file to open it.
