Level 1-3 / Design a Modern Book Cover for and Old Classic Book or A Film of Your Choice

project goal

Create a graphic-style book cover that uses the elements & principles of design.

Option 1: Choose a classic book that you have read and create a modern or "graphic" version of the cover
Option 2: Choose a classic (or recent) film that you've seen, and reimagine it as a book cover.
Extension: Create a set of 3 book covers based on 3 different characters, props, or themes (or combination) from the film/book (See "Clueless" example below for inspiration)
Other requirements: The cover must include the name of the book/film, and the name of the author/director

Time to Complete: 2-3 days

THINGS TO THINK ABOUT:

What are some key props, themes, clothing, or character attributes that are present in the book or movie?
Example A: In the movie "Scream", the (now-famous) scream-mask has become iconic. When people see that mask, they think of the Scream film franchise.
Example B (Below): In the movie "Clueless", there are iconic patterns (plaid), props (flip phones), and sayings ("As If").
