Patron God of the Sun, War, Fire, Victory, and Humanity.
Aelia is the queen of the Gods and Humanity, daughter of Caliga and Lucius, sister of Lucretia and Trajan, and partner of Astara.
In the current day, Empress Elizabetha - a thousand honors and blessings upon her name - is the avatar of Aelia and the worker of her will upon the material world.
Patron God of Luck, Fortune, and Choices.
Lucretia is the second child and daughter of Caliga and Lucius, as well as the sister of Aelia and Trajan.
Lucretia is said to dream of potential futures yet to pass. Among these dreams is the end of the world where all is wreathed in flame. Some scholars believe that this cleansing flame can only be born from betrayal.
Patron God of the Sea, Wrath, and Trickery.
Trajan is the third child and son of Caliga and Lucius, as well as the brother of Aelia and Lucretia.
They are rash and fickle, their mind and mood changing as often as the tides upon the seas. As a result, they often act without regard for the consequences.
Some scholars believe that Trajan will be the cause of the end of the world seen in Lucretia’s visions.
Patron God of the Moon, Wisdom, and Change.
Caelus is the first uncle of Aelia, and brother of Caliga and Lucius.
They supported Aelia’s overthrow of their brother and sister for a multitude of reasons, foremost among them being a desire to see what change Aelia would bring. Through curiosity, not loyalty, Caelus serves as an advisor to Aelia. His loyalties lie with growth and change, and as the structure of the pantheon lies Aelia is simply the most likely to induce both.
Caelus grants favor to artists, inventors, philosophers, and those who toil beneath the light of the Moon. It is said that when one sees an owl, Caelus is watching.
Patron God of the Earth, Harvest, Revelry, Fertility.
Otho is the second uncle of Aelia, and brother of Caliga and Lucius. While he supported Aelia’s overthrow of his siblings, he did so only that the parties and festivals of humanity would never come to an end.
Otho favors entertainment and raucous merriment over all things, and favors large families. The larger the family, the more festivals they hold for its members and with their neighbors. He subsequently grants favor to farmers, brewers, and midwives.
Patron God of Death, Sleep, and Peace.
Astara is the partner of Aelia, born from her dreams. They guide the souls of the dead to the realm of the afterlife known as the Hidden Plains, safe from the consuming maw of the Void.
They give favor to peace makers, daydreamers, tenders of the dead, and those who aid the injured.
The outcast rulers of the Void.
Caliga and Lucius were the first Gods, siblings of Otho and Caelus, and the parents of Aelia, Trajan, and Lucretia.
Driven beyond reason by the creation of Humanity, they have fallen from their once supreme position and have become masters of the Void, waiting and gathering strength until they will once again be strong enough to war against their children and finally finish what they began so long ago.
