Armicustos Septimus, Spring of 1022
Born to a very successful weapons merchant, Septimus was the seventh and youngest child of his family. He was the only to grow up in the era of the Empire, and as such enlisted in the Empress' legions to gain her favor and improve his family's standing amongst society.
Initially trained as an artilleryman, he was transferred to the Goldenfold garrison after an unfortunate incident involving a cow and trebuchet. He would be taken under the wing of a local armorer, and in time would come to become one himself.
With their new title of Armicustos, they would be assigned to the entourage of Lord-Centurion Edwin Consus for the duration of the 1022 feast meant to commemorate the Treaty of the Hounds.
With reports of missing supply caravans and disappearing patrols in the March becoming more common over the course of late 1022 and early 1023, he would work jointly with Isidore Bracca to pilot a new organization devoted to addressing the problem. The organization would be known as the Administratum, headquartered in Goldenfold and to be tested with a contingent of reinforcements from Hadria.
