Biography

It is said that House Draconius was ushered into history by slaying a great dragon. However, the same rumors say that this House was cursed to become that which they slew. “From fire you were made and by fire will you be consumed.” 

These independent monster hunters did indeed descend into violence and infighting broke out among even the closest of kin. It is said that amongst all of his House, Damon’s hands are the bloodiest, for it was he that saw the end to all under the name. But was this an act of manslaughter, revenge, or something else? None know. 

A decade ago, Damon retreated to his parent’s estate in the Maretonian Wine Belt. While continuing to both police the country against lowlives and protect his estate against wandering monsters from the Maw; Damon was summoned by his Keeper to the front line, and so he set out into the Maw with a caravan of supplies and soldiers. Only Damon returned, deathly ill. He claimed that a dragon attacked the caravan with liquid fire that burned like acid and fumes that poisoned one’s blood. 

Now recovered, Damon now returns a second time into Maw, tempting fate and challenging this “dragon curse” to take the last member (that he knows of) of House Draconius.
