Pushpanjali College of Education

Van Mahotsav was celebrated at Pushpanjali College of Education during the first week of July to promote environmental awareness and encourage students to care for nature. As part of the celebration, a Poster Making Competition was organised, where students creatively expressed the importance of trees and environmental conservation. The students also participated in the Adoption of Plants activity, taking responsibility for nurturing and caring for plants on the college campus. The celebration fostered a sense of environmental responsibility and highlighted the importance of protecting and preserving nature. 

A Tree Plantation Drive was conducted at Pushpanjali College of Education on 19 June 2026.The activity was organized to promote environmental awareness and conservation. Students and faculty members actively participated in planting saplings on the college campus. The participants learned about the importance of trees and maintaining a green environment. The activity promoted values such as teamwork, responsibility, and care for nature. The drive was successfully conducted and contributed towards creating a greener campus. l

A Plastic Waste Collection Drive was organized in our college on 23rd February 2026 in collaboration with the Save the Earth Foundation. Mr. Santosh Kakad from the foundation visited the college to conduct the drive and interact with the students. A month before the event, students were instructed to collect and clean empty plastic bottles, cartons, wrappers, and boxes generated in their daily lives. On the day of the drive, students enthusiastically brought the collected plastic waste to the college. Mr. Kakad delivered an informative talk on the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling plastic waste. He explained how the foundation converts discarded plastic into useful products such as tiles, handbags, and decorative items. He also shared practical tips on reducing plastic consumption by adopting eco-friendly alternatives. The students actively participated in the initiative and appreciated the importance of responsible waste management. The drive was a great success and inspired everyone to contribute towards environmental conservation. The event strengthened the students' commitment to sustainable living and protecting the environment.

Swachhata Pakhwada was observed at Pushpanjali College of Education to promote cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental responsibility among students. Various cleanliness activities were conducted on the college campus, encouraging students to maintain a clean and healthy surroundings. The initiative helped create awareness about the importance of cleanliness and motivated students to adopt responsible and sustainable practices in their daily lives.
