Banana plants thrive on water diverted from wash basins . The town of Vasai is famous for bananas. 

COMPOSTING ON CAMPUS

The picture to the left is  of the compost pit. The pit is filled with bio degradeable waste generated. Regular watering is done and then the compost generated is used to supply nutrients to plants as shown in the picture on the right.
