Pre-Placement activities 

19 November 2025

The Placement Cell of Pushpanjali College of Education organised a pre-placement activity in which Lecturer Ms. Sanika Asolkar took a session on Navigating Interviews. She guided them on how to draft an effective application letter, create a professional and well-structured resume, and face placement interviews with confidence. Through interactive discussions and practical examples, she helped students understand recruiter expectations and develop the skills needed to present themselves successfully in professional settings. As part of the preparation process, students also approached the faculty for guidance before their demonstration lessons. Faculty members provided individual support, reviewed their lesson plans, and offered constructive suggestions to improve their teaching techniques and classroom delivery. This continuous mentoring not only enhanced the students’ readiness for interviews but also contributed significantly to their overall professional development as future educators.

Session on CV writing and Creating LinkedIn Profile

18 November 2025

Pushpanjali College of Education organised an online session on CV Writing and Creating a LinkedIn Profile through the Google Meet platform. Dr. Mildred Dabreo, an alumna of the college and currently working as a Mathematics Educator at The Cathedral and John Connon School, served as the resource person for the session. She provided valuable insights into preparing a clear, professional, and impactful CV, highlighting the importance of showcasing skills, achievements, and teaching competencies. Dr. Dabreo also guided students on building an effective LinkedIn profile, explaining how it can enhance their professional visibility, networking opportunities, and career prospects. The session was highly informative and motivated students to present themselves confidently and professionally in the digital space.

Campus Placement Programmes

24, 25 & 27 November 2025

On 24 November 2025, Pushpanjali College of Education facilitated on-campus placement interviews conducted by three reputed institutions: I Global School (IGS), Sheth Vidya Mandir English High School (CBSE), and Yash Vidya Niketan Global School, Virar West. Representatives from these schools interacted with the student-teachers, assessed their teaching skills, communication abilities, and overall classroom readiness. The interviews provided valuable exposure and created promising employment opportunities for the trainees.

On 25 November 2025, Don Bosco High School & Junior College and Thakur Bhagwanidevi Musafir Public School, Naigaon East, participated in the placement Drive of Pushpanjali College of Education and conducted interviews for the student-teachers. The school representatives interacted with the candidates and assessed their teaching competencies, subject knowledge, and communication skills, giving them valuable exposure to realistic recruitment procedures. The visiting schools expressed positive feedback about the performance of the trainees and the supportive environment provided by the college and also appreciated college faculty for preparing candidate for facing the interviews confidently, along with a few constructive suggestions for further improvement. Overall, the placement drive created meaningful employment opportunities and significantly enhanced the confidence and professional readiness of the student-teachers.

The session served as a valuable platform for students to enhance their professional skills, build confidence, and prepare themselves for successful placement opportunities.

Workshop on C.V writing

A workshop on Curriculum Vitae (C.V.) writing was conducted on 24th August 2024 by Dr. Agnes D'costa, the Placement In-charge. The session aimed to equip students with the necessary skills to craft a professional and impactful C.V., tailored to highlight their strengths, academic achievements, and relevant experiences. The workshop was interactive, with students actively participating in discussions and seeking feedback on their drafts. It served as a valuable platform to prepare them for upcoming placement opportunities and future professional endeavours.

Session on Creating LinkedIn Profile

11 April 2025

An insightful online session was conducted by Mr. Gavin D’souza on “Creating a LinkedIn Profile”. Mr. D’souza explained how a well-crafted LinkedIn profile can serve as a powerful tool for networking, connecting with educational institutions, and showcasing teaching-related skills, qualifications, internships, and achievements. He guided students through each section of the profile emphasizing the significance of a professional photo, writing an impactful summary, highlighting teaching experiences, certifications, lesson planning abilities, and co-curricular involvement. Practical tips on joining teacher networks, following educational pages, and engaging with content relevant to the teaching profession were also shared. The session was highly interactive and well-received, empowering B.Ed. students to present themselves confidently and professionally in the virtual academic and job-seeking space.

Campus Placement Programme

A Campus Placement Programme was organized at Pushpanjali College of Education during the academic year 2024–25, providing valuable career opportunities for aspiring educators. Renowned schools such as Thakur Bhagwanidevi Musafir Public School, Thakur Vidyamandir, and Rustomjee Cambridge International School participated in the drive. Representatives from these institutions conducted interviews and recruitment processes on campus, offering students a platform to showcase their skills and secure teaching positions. The initiative was highly appreciated for bridging the gap between education and employment.
