Students visited Homes for the Aged in small groups and spent quality time interacting with the inmates, talking to them and listening to them. Some entertainment programmes were organized. At times the students helped the inmates in their tasks under the guidance of the centre in charge. The experience helped to build a rapport with the old people and also sensitized the students towards the needs of the elderly. Some students helped in preparing and serving meals for the inmates of orphanages.
