Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan

Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan was launched in 2019 as a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th birth anniversary. Pushpanjali College of Education has contributed to this flagship programme through cleanliness activities  such as clean beach campaigns and cleaning of one's neighblurhoods. Students have also collaborated with NGOs working towards safe disposal of plastic and they have spread awareness of the dangers of single use plastic.  Alternatives like use of cloth bag have been promoted through lessons during the Nai talim /VENTEL cell activities .

Digital India 

Digital India is a flagship programme of the Government of India with a vision to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy.  Pushpanjali College of Education believes in E Power to Empower. During the pandemic we trained more than 500 school teachers to adapt to online teaching.  The college regularly orgaises sessions on Intellectual Property Rights and conducts value added courses on E content Development and Apps in Education. 

Students have completed the AI Awareness and AI Appreciate levels of the AI for all Initiative of CBSE and  Intel . The courses are part of Digital India programme.

National Water Mission 

Student involved in mobilising her community to clean local water bodies 

Internees at St Augustine's High School conducted activities to motivate   school students to care for water resources. This was done as part of the Water Security programme of the school.
