National Sports Day

Indoor games were conducted including carrom, etc. The celebration inspired students to adopt sports as a regular part of life, reinforcing the message that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body.

Teachers' Day

Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm. Significance of Lord Ganesha and the tradition of welcoming Him during the festival was discussed. The importance of using eco-friendly idols made from clay was emphasized to promote environmental awareness and reduce water pollution caused by plaster-of-Paris idols. The students explained the symbolic features of the idol, the elephant head representing wisdom and strength, the large ears signifying the importance of listening, the small eyes symbolizing focus, and the trunk denoting adaptability. Each part of the idol was described as carrying a deep spiritual message.
Hindi Bhasha Diwas

International Yoga Day

On the occasion of International Yoga Day, a special assembly was conducted by Ms. Sancia highlighting the importance of yoga in promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The assembly emphasized the benefits of yoga in developing discipline, concentration, flexibility, and inner peace. Following the assembly, a Yoga Session was organized in collaboration with Patanjali Yog Samiti. Volunteers from the Samiti visited the institution and shared valuable insights about the origin, significance, and benefits of yoga. They explained the importance of incorporating yoga into daily life and guided the students through various warm-up exercises, yoga asanas, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques. Students actively participated in the session and followed the demonstrations under the guidance of the volunteers. The session provided students with a practical understanding of yoga and encouraged them to adopt it as a regular practice for a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
Nashamukt Pakhwada

A special session on Nasha Mukt Pakhwada was conducted by Mr. Warner to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of substance and drug abuse. The session explained the significance of Nasha Mukt Pakhwada and its objective of promoting a drug-free society, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and spreading awareness about the physical, mental, social, and economic consequences of substance abuse. Students were informed about the importance of making responsible choices and supporting individuals affected by addiction. The session also emphasized the role of young people in creating awareness and contributing towards a Nasha Mukt Bharat. As part of the programme, the students took a pledge to remain free from substance abuse and promote a healthy and drug-free lifestyle. The students subsequently completed the pledge online through the Government of India’s official website and received certificates in recognition of their participation.
National Doctor's Day

On the occasion of National Doctors’ Day, a special assembly was conducted by Ms. Fatema to acknowledge the invaluable contribution of doctors and healthcare professionals to society. The assembly highlighted the importance and significance of National Doctors’ Day and explained how the observance began in India to honour the birth anniversary of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, a renowned physician and former Chief Minister of West Bengal. Students were informed about the dedication, service, and responsibilities of doctors in safeguarding public health. The assembly also emphasized the values of compassion, empathy, commitment, and selfless service associated with the medical profession.
National CA Day

On the occasion of National CA Day, a special assembly was conducted by Ms. Fatema to highlight the importance and significance of the Chartered Accountancy profession in the field of finance, business, and economic development. The assembly provided students with information about the qualifications, eligibility, and stages involved in pursuing Chartered Accountancy. The key skills required to become a successful Chartered Accountant, such as analytical thinking, numerical ability, attention to detail, problem-solving, integrity, and time management, were also discussed. The assembly also focused on the contribution of Chartered Accountants towards the economy and society. Their role in ensuring financial transparency, promoting tax compliance, supporting businesses, strengthening financial systems, and contributing to responsible economic growth was emphasized.
Van Mohatsav

On the occasion of Van Mahotsav, a special assembly was conducted by Ms. Joyleen to create awareness about the importance of forests and the need for their conservation. Information regarding the origin, purpose, and significance of Van Mahotsav was shared with the students, emphasizing the vital role of trees in maintaining ecological balance, reducing pollution, and supporting biodiversity. An informative video was also shown to further highlight the importance of protecting and increasing green cover. Following the assembly, students carried placards with environmental messages and walked around the campus to spread awareness about tree plantation and forest conservation. As part of the initiative, students also planted saplings within the campus, reinforcing the message of environmental responsibility through practical action.
Guru Purnima

On the occasion of Guru Purnima, a special assembly was conducted by Ms. Syna and Mr. Warner to highlight the significance of the day and the invaluable role of teachers and mentors in shaping the lives of learners. The assembly emphasized the values of gratitude, respect, wisdom, and guidance associated with the Guru-Shishya tradition. As a gesture of appreciation, the staff members were felicitated during the assembly. Students expressed heartfelt words of appreciation, acknowledging the teachers’ dedication, guidance, encouragement, and constant support in their academic and personal growth.
Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Management Day

The Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, which is also celebrated as Management Day, was observed with great enthusiasm and reverence by the various institutions on the campus. The occasion provided an opportunity to celebrate the feast as well as express gratitude to the Management Team for their dedicated service, guidance, and leadership. The programme included an enactment depicting the story of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, followed by a variety of cultural performances by students from the different sections of the campus. As part of Management Day, the Sisters of the Management Team were felicitated as a gesture of appreciation for their invaluable contribution and selfless service. The Manager delivered a special speech highlighting the significance of the occasion and acknowledging the efforts of the Management Team in guiding and nurturing the institutions. The celebration brought together the campus community in a spirit of faith, gratitude, appreciation, and togetherness.
