Hello, everyone. Today, I will talk about my long trip to Brooklyn. I started off my journey by taking the 1 train. I got off at 168th Street to go on the A train because it was express.
I already did a separate video on the 4 elevators that go from 1 to A and C when I took the subway to go to school. I also saw another set of elevators: one uptown, and one downtown. I also saw the elevator from the street to the station where I took a video during my Midtown Manhattan MTA Bus trip. After I finished riding the last two elevators that go from the mezzanine to the A & C trains, I looked around the hallway to make sure there were no more elevators that I didn’t know about. I came across an R179 C train on the A-line.
According to train enthusiast lingo, we call the R179’s lemon trains. This is because of some faulty performance. I waited for an R211 A train, which arrived 10 minutes after the R46 A train left the station. I saw the dialouge screen display the stops way too late. The announcements also played too late. The electronic strip maps also displayed the stops too late. When 125th Street was next, the text, station announcement, and strip map said “168th Street.”
When the A train arrived at 59th Street-Columbus Circle, the train operator decided enough was enough and decided to disable the strip maps, stop dialogue, and station announcements together. It was an R211 Lemon train I rode. My goal was to go to Brooklyn to film electric gates. The first one was located on Old Fulton Street. I mistook Old Fulton Street with Fulton Street in Manhattan. I got off at Fulton Street by accident. One good thing that came out of this was I decided to ride the elevators at the Oculus and Fulton centers. After that, I went for a walk on the Brooklyn Bridge to get to my first destination.
I then went to the High Street station to take the F train to the other electric gates on “Cropsey Avenue.” I rode the R179 A train 1 stop to Jay Street-Metrotech to transfer to the R160 Alstom F train. I rode two elevators from ACF to the R trains. I rode the F train after. Upon transferring to the D train, I saw an electric gate that was 2 minutes far from the Neptune Avenue station. I got off on Coney Island, and transferred to the D train, after I rode 2 elevators. I then walked for many minutes to film a pair of electric gates in one building, another pair of electric gates in another building, and an entry-exit-only pair of gates in the 3rd one. It took 1 hour and 20 minutes to get footage of all 6.
I also walked to yet another building which had 2 electric gates, which took at least 1 hour to get footage of both. The building also had another pair of electric gates which were out of order during my trip. I then made foot for the electric gate which was seen from the Neptune Avenue Station on the F train. That gate also took 1 hour for me to film. My feet were aching badly. I went to the station, paid the fare for all 3 trips, and brought food/snacks for my long journey. There were some slow signals on the R160 Alstom F Train and R179 A Train. I saw a dancer so I had fun. After that, I went back home on the 1 Train. I was tired.
My legs and feet were aching. My grandma said I could come over tonight. My uncle was available to drive me since I was so tired. My legs and feet hurt so much it took me 2 hours to finally fall asleep. This marks the end of my journey.
Hello everyone helfry here and welcome to yet another commentary this time on “The American Museum Of Natural History” which is located near central park in New York and you could take the © Train all the way to here, now for me personally i’ve had quite a history with the museum so I might as well talk about my personal experiences with the place. Now the first time i’ve been here was all the way back in 2013 i believe and this was when i was in P94 and let me tell you the first time i’ve set foot in this museum, i was quite shocked, i saw a bunch of fossils, the skeletons of certain animals and dinosaurs you know the works, and then we went to the marine biology exhibit, and needless to say it was definitely my favorite area of the museum and it still is to this day, sure it’s quite dark there but some of the descriptions glow in the dark for easy reading, and then we got my second favorite exhibit of the museum the “Hayden Planetarium” this is where you can learn about the solar system and other things that are out of this world. And then you can go to the cafeteria for a lunch break, now I haven’t been to said cafeteria but I heard they might have dino nuggets. And once you're finished exploring the museum, you can visit the gift shop to buy a souvenir. Now for me I've been here several times with the most recent one being in 2022 when I went with Ms. Sarah's class, and my current teacher is planning on going there in late March so I can't wait to go back there again. So anyways that’s it for me, I'm sorry if this article was a bit short but hopefully the next article will be long to make up for it, anyways thanks for reading and I'll see you next time!
