Hello, everyone! I went to Harlem today. I went there to film electric gates. To start my adventure, I went for a short ride on the MTA’s 207th street station elevator where the A train stops at. At the time, I didn’t have a Metrocard or OMNY card. After I finished my short ride, I went to ride the M100 bus to Harlem.
When I got there, I decided to ride the MTA’s 135 Street station elevators where the 3 train stops at. I went all the way up east to film an electric gate, but I quickly realized that it was super-inactive. So I went back down west to film another electric gate, to which I saw a sign that said “parking closures effective 02/03/2023” and I was mad I wasted all that time.
I was so mad that I just skipped all the electric gates up north in Harlem to which there are a lot of, by the way. There were so many to focus on and it boggled my mind so much that I just decided to focus on 5 electric gates at a building close to J117/Tito Puente Education Complex. I decided to take the M116 bus, which was fare-free then, and stop by East River Plaza. I decided to test my luck with the only working elevators, which were the main elevator, and one of the four parking elevators.
Without knowing, I spent one hour and eventually got confronted. I left upon request and went to my final destination for the day. I filmed the 5 electric gates, and it took the rest of the day to get them all filmed. The building also has a sixth electric gate, but it was out of order, and they left it like that. After I was done, I took the M3 bus after an hour of waiting, and transferred to the Bx7 bus on 168th street, with the transfer ticket in my hand. The Bx7 and M100 had glitchy screens.
This also happened with a southbound M11 bus 3 days ago when we went somewhere for student worksite-related reasons. The screens on the M11 didn’t work at all! As a result, the only sound effects working were the bell when a stop was requested, and all rear door announcements. We went on the eastbound M50 bus 2 days later for the same reason as stated 2 days ago. On that bus, the screens worked, but the stops didn’t show, resulting in only the “exit through the rear door” voice line playing.

Hello everyone Helfry here and I hope you guys had a happy holiday and new year, By the Happy 2024 and what better way to kick off the new year than to listen to me talk about my favorite video games, so I figured I might as well continue to talk about the Bloons Tower Defense Series. I talked about its origins and the first 2 entries in the series so I might as well talk about the third and fourth entry in the series so let’s jump into it shall we?
The third Bloons td game does improve a few things, such as being able to rapidly click on the track with the road items and give all of the towers new upgrades, it also adds two new towers and one new road item into the game, The spike-o-pult is exactly what it sounds like, it uses a catapult to hurl big spiky balls at the bloons, they can also pop a few bloons at a time. The other tower added into the game was the monkey beacon which serves as support for your towers nearby; they can be upgraded to have a wider influence and give nearby towers a faster attack rate. And finally the road item that was added is the pineapple which literally blows up after a 3 second interval, it does serve as a great way to get rid of those pesky lead bloons if you don’t already have a bomb shooter, but the 3 second interval makes it so that it’s not viable against fast bloons unfortunately. As for the new bloons there are two of them one of them being the Ceramic Bloon, they have a ceramic outer layer that can take multiple hits to pop. And finally we have the Massive Ornary Air Blimp or Mother Of All Bloons aka the M.O.A.B for short, not to be confused with a certain atom bomb, this blimp is able to tank hundreds of hits and if they reach the exit, it’s an instant Game Over; of course this is the first game to introduce MOAB Class Bloons which practically do the same thing just tank a lot more hits, plus it’s also the first game to introduce freeplay mode which allows you to play as many rounds as you please, but your computer may not like the game just spamming you with bloons though but that’s just the fun of it. And then there’s bloons td 4 which was unfortunately the black sheep of the franchise mostly because of it being sandwiched between the two popular bloons games, but it did feature tons of new content: Firstly, it’s the first game in the series to feature not only Sandbox mode but also
Apopalypse and Deflation. Sandbox mode allows you to test out tower strategies, and see how much damage a tower does, Apopalypse mode is an an adrenaline rush that sends out an endless stream of bloons until you run out of lives, and finally deflation mode gives you a large amount of cash but you won’t get anymore from bloon pops and at the end of rounds, plus banana farms are disabled. The new bloons are nothing to write home abou,t there’s the pink bloon which is a new fast bloon that’s faster than a yellow bloon, there’s the camo bloon which cannot be seen by most towers but gets hit by projectiles anyways, there’s the zebra bloon which is a hybrid between the black and white bloon, which are immune to explosions and freezing respectively. And finally there’s a new MOAB class bloon, the B.F.B aka Brutal Floating Behemoth or just The Behemoth is a lot more tankier than a moab, It even contains four of them when destroyed. And as for the new towers there are quite a few new ones,
first off the mortar monkey which fires an explosive bombshell at a set target.
the glue gunner which can shoot out globs of glue at a single bloon slowing them down.
the monkey ace which flies over the track shooting a volley of darts while eventually dropping explosive pineapples on the track
There's the monkey buccaneer which shoots out a piercing dart and eventually a spread shot of grapes at the bloons, however it can only be placed in water
the monkey apprentice which fires a magic ball at the bloons, eventually learning how to shoot an explosive fireball and a tornado which can blow back bloons to the entrance.
And there’s also two new towers that were released in a later update of btd4. There's the dartling gunner which fires darts in quick succession and it allows you to aim wherever your mouse is and I think it’s kinda neat.
And finally there’s the spike factory which basically places down an array of spikes along the track and it can be upgraded to eventually place down spikes throughout the entire track, but unfortunately for the spike-o-pult it has been demoted to an upgrade for the dart monkey and it has been this way ever since. This is where I would have talked about Bloons td 5 but this article has gone on for a bit too long so i’m just going to end it here. Anyways, thanks for reading this article. I really hope you enjoyed it, and i’ll see you guys again in my next article.
Hello everyone Helfry here back again with another ranking memes article, plus this is the first one of 2024. The last time i did another article about memes was back in october last year and that is because there hasn’t been any good memes for me to rank and i deeply apologize for the long hiatus for this series anyways let’s not waste any more and get into it
#1 Dancing Toothless: I finally have an excuse to talk about the animator Cas Van De Pol, he’s essentially one of my favorite youtube animators, with my favorite video from him is the recap of the first season of spongebob + the first spongebob movie. Anyways the precursor to this meme was simply just a gecko dancing to Driftveil City from Pokemon: Black & White, the meme released in april of 2019 and then at least 4 years later Mr. Cas posted a recap cartoon on Dreamworks’ How To Train Your Dragon and lo and behold the Dancing Toothless meme was born. But Wait, There’s more, some random person then decided to make a 1 hour version of Toothless Dancing. Keep in mind that it’s only one hour, so if you want to make it 10 hours you have to make the video loop ten times by right-clicking on it. But anyways this meme is pretty cool, And i wish Cas the best in 2024, 9/10
#2 Mafia City: This is a mobile game where players join gangster clans jockeying to become the ultimate clan in the city, that is according to the Know Your Meme website but this game is rather well known for it’s ads and it’s slogan “That’s How Mafia Works” the context of these ads are rather the same every time: a “Level 1 Crook” gets foiled and tricked by a “Level 35 Boss” the crook then shoots up a bank and somehow a few shots managed to set it ablaze and then the boss gets instant karma, The End! Also the game’s ads are often rather paired with the song “Pump” by Valentino Khan which is pretty catchy, so it gets a 5/10 but why a 5? because even though i never played it because it’s a mobile rip-off of GTA, at least i know how Mafia works.
#3 Somebody Toucha My Spaghett: Here we have another meme that was popular in January some of you guys may be noticing the theming of this article, the origins of this meme comes from an animated retelling of the book “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” (Seriously i haven’t heard of that story in a long time!) and in one scene where the bears are coming back from fishing i suppose, they found out that someone ate their porridge or as the papa bear calls it spaghett. The bears also found out that Goldilocks was sleeping in bed and then they just kick her out of the house, anyways the meme has spread throughout the entire internet such as youtube, twitter and Instagram and it was also featured on youtube in the playlist “Instant Regret Clicking This Playlist (Memes)” Anyways this meme is quite meh it’s also quite repetitive too 4/10.
Anyways, that's 3 more memes ranked. I really hope you enjoyed it and i’ll see you guys again in the next article.
Hey Everyone, Helfry Here, back at it again with another Commentary article about none other than Costco and my personal experience with the place, So I won't waste anymore time so let’s get into it! Costco is to put it simply a large retail warehouse with a food court to boot, here in New York City, there’s one in manhattan within the East River Plaza in Spanish Harlem, and another one located in Queens and throughout my experiences with it they’re not too bad and considering the size of most costco stores, you know how in any other store you ask if they have a certain item and they go. “I don’t know. Let me go check in the back.” In costco however, My Brother in Christ YOU ARE in the back! this is quite possibly the biggest back room i’ve ever seen if that were to be true, anyways i’m getting off-topic let’s get on with the things you’d often see at these stores, first off there’s the obvious things, you got your snacks, appliances, batteries, toys, clothes, those super bright electronics and TVs that make you go temporarily blind when you first step into the store you know the works and then there’s these free samples that are so good they make you want to pin-point where the other free samples are so you could hit every single one in a single route. And then there’s these backyard stuff for people who live in suburbia, it almost makes you wonder how they manage to assemble those and put them on display. Now most of the times i’ve been to Costco it’s mostly to restock items for our snack store, but once we’re done we can go into the food court and let me tell you something about it, the foods there are immaculate. There’s the pizza slices that are just as greasy as any other new york pizza i’ve ever eaten, there’s the hot dogs that are usually boiled, but the sausages are so big you could choke on them if you want to (Please note that Class V62 Does not condone choking on hot dogs or any food for that matter!), and then there’s my favorite item to order in the food court The Chicken Bake which mostly consist of a seasoned breadstick stuffed with grilled chicken, bacon, and cheese and i don’t know about you but these chicken bakes are one of the main reason why I love going to costco in the first place. And finally there’s the smoothies which were made with freshly picked mangos and a little bit of concentrate (I’ve never tried it but maybe I’ll try it someday.) and there's one more thing i should have told you in the beginning and it's that Costco is a Members Only Club, so you have to either be a member yourself or be with a member to enter the warehouse, And in order to get a membership card you have to go to a stand which is usually right by the entrance and they’ll take your picture, and you’ll also have to give them some of your personal information such as your full name and date of birth. And I think that’s all that Costco has to offer, of course there may be a few things I forgot to mention and if so do let me know in the comments below, anyways That’s all for now, I hope you enjoyed it, and i’ll see you guys again in my next Article.
