Olympic Sport Nordic Combined
The nordic combined was first played in 1892 and joined the olympics in 1924. The equipment is boots, goggles and a jacket etc.The Nordic combined is a mix of cross country and sky jumping. With sky jumping placed first followed by the cross country skiing i hope you like the information i shared with you.
Newton's 1st law of motion
Objects in motion will stay in motion unless they are pushed or pulled. Unbalanced forces are in motion. At the beginning of the nordic combined they are at rest and at the middle or end they are in motion.
Newton's 2 law of motion
Force=mass x acceleration. Newton's 2nd law means force is how much you need to push something. Mass is mater acceleration is speeding up or slowing down to push something with a lot of mass takes more Force the more force you push with will cause more acceleration. Acceleration is my sport is when they go down the ramp and jump off of it.Slowing down and speeding up is acceleration too. when they go down the ramp they are accelerating. and in the air they are decelerating because they are going down. That is all for Newton's second law.
Newton's 3rd law of motion
Every action has an opposite reaction. action is a force in one direction. Gravitational force pulls them down and the ramp pushes them back up.moving their skis backward makes them go forward.in the air the gravitational force pulls them down to the ground after they launch off the ramp.
