Curling
Curling is a sport that is played on ice. People spin stones to targets. They wear curling shoes to make them not slip. Curling has a nickname called the roading game. it’s been played in the Netherlands in Scotland on April 6,1896.
Friction motion. Friction force. less friction can keep something in motion. Friction rest. Something that is in motion will stop fast because of more friction. Gravity. If curling had a hill the stone would go down but gravity would pull it down. Newton's first law is a Paralympic. An unbalanced force is something lighter than the heavy one. Balanced force is something that is the same size. What are some balanced things in my sport? In curling when the stone is spun it is balanced because of less friction but it would stay in motion until someone or something stops it.
Hello, I would like to talk to you about Newton's 2nd law. Force. When the stone is spinning they push the stone. Mass. The stone is heavy and it’s hard to push. Acceleration. When people push the stone it moves. Decoration. If people don’t spin the stone correctly it can slow down. Acceleration. When people spin the stone it starts out slow then goes fast. The rocket ship has mass what it’s made out of. Force pushes and acceleration in front of it. Force you have a book and you throw it across the room you applied force Mass the stone is heavy and it’s hard to push it. And that is how Newton's 2nd law works with my sport.
What is Newton's 3rd law? Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Action. Pushing the curling stone. reaction. When people push the curling stone and a stone is in the circle and the stone hits it, it bounces back. All action and reaction. Spinning walking running ,feet pushing back. throwing, your body pushes back. Pushing body, goes forward then goes backwards a little. And that is all I know about Newton's 3rd law.
