Paralympic Triathlon
The Paralympic triathlon. is for people with disabilities. but can play any games in the Olympics. The time when they host the game is on March 4. If you are wondering how many games there are, 3.. Also if you are wondering what types of the game are, biking, running, swimming. Also Anyone can participate in the Paralympic triathlon. How it is played is like a normal Olympic games where you can choose what to do like swimming, biking and running. The history of the Paralympics is. The paralympics all started in London in 1948. In a hospital for patients in need of fun in their life. So they started a Paralympic triathlon. It started with 3 games. Running, swimming or biking. And to this day the Paralympics now has 46 games. The time it was introduced to the world was in 1950. but the first game was in 1952. And the first gold medal of the paralympics was to Margaret Maughan.
If you are wondering what Newton's first law is. We will get right into it. Stay with me. Newton's first law is Movement and motion. If you are wondering how it works in the first law. How it works is when something is at rest. will stay at rest unless a force is acted upon it. But something in motion will also stay in motion. But one example is when a car is at rest unless you press the brakes and move forward. But a car in motion will stay in motion unless you press the brakes and stop. Another example is a ball at rest will stay at rest unless you add force to it. But a ball in motion will stay in motion unless a wall stops it or a force. what is Newton's first law now you know what motion is. So when a test comes up on motion you can say that it is the first law. Now you know. But we’ll move on to the next thing.
When you are at the start of a race you are at rest. But when you hear the gunshot you jolt forward and run. But when you are running you are not at rest you are in motion and jolting forward and running as fast as can. And when you stop you are at the finish line at rest. Or you are still passing and or happy you won. But you are at rest then done.
When you are kicking your legs and arms you are not in rest but when you are in starfish mode you are at rest. When you are at rest you are just sitting there. But when your swimming you are now in motion. When you are peddling you are using applied force and in motion. But when you take a break you are at rest. But when you are not at rest you are pedaling hard and moving forward so you could win a race. When you won a race. You are resting. And maybe won the race.
What are Newton's 2 laws? Newton's 2 laws are force, acceleration and mass. First one is acceleration. Acceleration is something pulling you forward. Like an example is when you're running. When you are running forward acceleration is pulling you forward. Next is forces. Forces are like something on your legs when you are running. Forces are like when you are running and your feet hit the ground. That's applied forces. Mass is blood gore so that's you running forward and backwards. Ok now we know Newton's 2 laws, how about we do running in my triathlon. Ok next chapter now Please. My sports is the paralympics the ptriathlon is for short. But my sport has 3 games. There are running, swimming and biking. the first one we'll talk about is running. How running uses Newton's 2 laws. Ok so when you are running and your feet hit the ground. That is focus could applied force. That's when you're hitting something and moving back or forth. That's how running uses Newton's 2 laws. Next, swimming. When you are swimming forward and back. That was the action but the reaction is you kicking your legs and arms.
Do you know what the 3 laws are? Because I do and I am here to teach you about that. Newtons 3 law has 2 things: action/reaction. First one we will talk about is action. Action is like when a ball is getting thorne the action is well you moving it. Now the reaction. The reaction is when it comes back up when it gets the throne.if you are wondering how do we use it every day. Well when we make beds the action is us moving it the reaction is staying there and not moving.
Now you know what the 3rd law is. How does it work in my sport? Well we will talk about that. First we will talk about swimming. You are probably wondering how it works in swimming. Will everything have a reaction and an action? In swimming the action is you kicking and the reaction is you moving. How about bicking. The action is you applying force to the pedals but the reaction is you moving. Now running. When You are running and about to kick off you are pushing the ground and the reaction is pushing you the opposite way forward. That's all for all.
That is how it works in my sport and that paralympic triathlon.
