Paralympic Archery
Do you wanna know some cool facts about paralympic archery? Paralympic archery was first played in 1960 in Rome, Italy. But what do you need for this sport? Well you need a bow, elbow strap, mouth tab, prosthetic, stool, wheelchair, and a release brace. Also you might be wondering how you play paralympic archery and it is pretty similar to normal archery but you do have to score in one of the ten scoring goals and you also have to have a disability. And a fun fact is that some shooters can shoot up to 90 meters!
Do you wanna learn about Newton's first law? But what is Newton's first law? Well it is when an object is at rest and stays at rest or when an object is in motion and stays at motion. A balanced force is 2 forces that are even and pushing the same direction, and an unbalanced force is when there are 2 forces but 1 is stronger and 1 is weaker.
An unbalanced force in paralympic archery is when the arrow starts moving because of the deceleration and then it stops moving when it hits the target. Also a balanced force in paralympic archery is when the string is trying to go the opposite direction then the arrow. Also an object at rest in paralympic archery is the target because it is still the whole time. Then an object in motion is the arrow because it is moving through the air until it goes to rest when it hits the target.
Also an object that starts at rest that goes into motion in paralympic archery is the arrow because the person is forcing it to be at rest then they will get let go then the arrow will start flying. Then the arrow is in motion then the target makes it go the opposite direction.
Do you wanna learn about Newton's 2nd law? But what is Newton's second law? Newton’s 2nd law is when acceleration happens when the mass hits the force.
Force is when an object at rest remains at rest and an object in motion goes to rest. Some forces in paralympic archery are the target and another force is also when you are holding the arrow and that is a muscle force. Also mass is the amount of particles in an object. Some masses in paralympic archery are the arrow and the target.
Acceleration is when something starts moving it is accelerating and it can decelerate when the object is moving or slowing down. Acceleration can happen in paralympic archery when you let go of the arrow it is accelerating. So for example in paralympic archery when the mass gets decelerated from gravitational force it drags it back to the earth and it hits the target. The farther you pull the arrow the farther it will travel and then hit the target.
Do you wanna learn about Newton's third law! But what is Newton's third law? Newton's third law is when an action always has a reaction. Wait but what is an action, an action is a force or push or pull. Some examples in my sport are when you pull the arrow back and when the arrow hits the target. And what is a reaction, a reaction is something that reacts to an action some reactions in my sport is when you let go of the arrow it reacts and goes forwards.
Action: when you let go of the arrow. Reaction: your body shakes. Action: the limbs bend forward when you are holding the arrow. Reaction: when you let go the limbs go forwards. Action: the arrow pushes forwards towards the air. Reaction: so the arrow goes a little slower. Action: when the arrow hits the target. Reaction: the target shakes back and forth. Action: when you pull the arrow back. Reaction: when you let go the arrow goes forwards.
