Blue Spruce

Mrs. Lyons will be reading all 10 of the Blue Spruce books as part of our Live from the Library story time. Check the schedule below to see when each book will be read.

Educators- There will be three different story times each week for the Blue Spruce books, an MS teams link will be shared for story time. You only need to join in for one unless you'd like your class to listen to the book a second time.
Each book has a designated page with links, activities, maker prompts and more!

While we read the blue spruce books we will be discussing and thinking about the following guiding questions:

How might reading about others help us better understand ourselves?

How might reading about people who are different than us help us to better understand the connections between us?

What does it mean to explore our identity?

How will we extend our learning into action? More specifically, how might we use this learning to continue our journey towards being anti-racist?
