NAPLAN

NAPLAN

Every year, students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 sit the NAPLAN examinations. NAPLAN refers to the National Assessment Program Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) and assesses students’ skills in literacy and numeracy.

NAPLAN is a Federal government initiative and the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) is charged with the responsibility for developing and centrally managing the National Assessment Plan. In NSW, the NSW Education Authority (NESA) is responsible for its administration.

Please refer to the College calendar for specific dates; in 2018, NAPLAN will be sat as a pen and paper test over three (3) days.
