During this training, we will discuss what the Core Progression Pathway is and how it can be used effectively for pupils working well below their age-related expectations.
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) barriers and difficulties have become better understood since this category of Special Educational Need replaced the previous BESD (Behaviour, Social and Emotional Difficulties). This training explores how and why SEMH difficulties influence what we observe in the classroom and the resulting behaviours that some children present with.
Life after lockdown was shared across the Trust for the inset in June 2020. The focus was all about being mindful of the potential mental health and wellbeing needs of the pupils in your academy and how they best to support their transition back into school. The models and mindsets that are explored remain relevant today.
