PJ DAY!!! Friday 14th
Come wearing your PJ's and bring your favourite stuffie to cuddle with during our lessons.
1) Outdoor Exploration:
Watch as I find mushrooms even in the winter! Then go and find some for yourself! :)
2) Science:
Try this colour mixing experiment at home!
3) Art:
Mix a teensy bit of food colouring with water and freeze in ice cube trays or other containers. Use them to build with or decorate a fort during outside play.
4) Literacy:
Use the package of letter sheets which were sent home before the break to practice letters. You could do the sheets in order or choose whatever letter you'd like to practice! Students who need an extra challenge can also write words using that letter.
5) Math:
See how many different shapes you can make with little sticks in your home such as popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners, toothpicks etc!
1) Outdoor Exploration:
Watch me explore my local forested area in these two videos, then go out and see what you see!
2) Science: Watch and follow along with this science experiment! You'll need water, dish soap and oil!
3) Art: Try mixing one part water with two parts cornstarch and enjoy!
4) Literacy: Students can make letters using beans or small items in their home. For an extra challenge, try make their name or three letter words with the middle letter "a" such as cat.
5) Math: Play "Roll and Build". Students roll a die, and add that many blocks to their tower.
