Fire drill
We practiced going outside and lining up when there is a fire drill. We will practice again next week. We learned that we don't change our shoes or put on jackets when we hear a fire alarm. We stop playing right away and head for the classroom door that leads outside. The children were learning to stay calm while walking and lining up in the back field. We talk about remaining quiet during the drill to listen for instructions from their teachers or the principal. They did a great job for the first practice. Way to go, Dragonflies!
