French Teacher: Mme Spicer
Bonjour! I am so excited to be working with the Knoxdale Kindergarten team for a second year in a row! This is my 7th year teaching with the OCDSB, and my 3rd year teaching Kindergarten. I am a Kindergarten Specialist and have found my passion in teaching Kindergarten. I come from a military background, but have now settled down in Ottawa with my two beautiful dogs, Dexter and Cali. In my spare time I enjoy being in nature and spend a lot of time camping and gardening, as well as making puzzles and knitting. I look forward to a wonderful year of learning and growing together!
English Teacher: Ms. Thornber
Hello! I've been teaching with the OCDSB for about eight years in various grades. This is my second year at Knoxdale and I'm so looking forward to joining the Kindergarten team this year. I have some additional qualifications in reading and mathematics and I'm excited to use what I've learned to help to build the foundation for a lifetime of learning. When I'm not teaching, you can find me in my garden, foraging for wild plants, or finding ways to can all the tomatoes I grew this summer! This will be a great year at Knoxdale!

Hello Knoxdale families!
I am so looking forward to getting to know you this year! I taught online last year due to the current circumstances. I have been teaching at knoxdale for the past 6 years and with the board for seven years. I enjoy being creative around my house, i like to change things up! I also love spending time at the water in the summer. I recently tried paddle boarding and do want to purchase my own board next summer.
We are going to have an awesome year!
