"Game Day!"
Students have been really enjoying the "School" Dramatic Play area!
Tenzie: in this game, students have ten dice, and they decide on a number from one to six. They take turns rolling all their dice, and they get to set aside the dice that landed on their predetermined number.
We read the book The Skin You Live In by Michael Tyler. We talked about what skin is and how it helps us. We noticed that our skin comes in different shades and we compared to our friends. We mixed plasticine to try to model our own bodies.
We started "Reading Buddies" this week! The kids choose a book together, and the grade 4s read to them.
We had some great learning this week, including designing a bird house and playing an adding game.
