Before School Drop-Off 7:45 - 8:00:

Driving (see map ABOVE):

As there will be no busses/vans, we will be opening the bus lane to create a large drop off area for parents driving their children to school. Kindergarten students are welcome to use the kiss and ride lane! Please stay in your car, follow staff instructions upon arrival, and have your child ready to exit your vehicle. Our staff will take care of opening and closing vehicle doors and assisting children as needed and there will be staff members there to shuttle the kids either into the Kindergarten yard or into the school (weather depending) . Upon departing school property, we ask that you make a RIGHT turn only, so that we can keep the flow of traffic and avoid a backup onto Greenbank at the entry point.

Walking to school:

Please drop off per usual in the Kindergarten yard. If it is called an "inclement weather entry" - meaning the weather is bad outside, we will be letting the kids inside as we usually do on rainy days, using the front door of the school or the side door next to the yard. Staff will be at the doors to help.

Pick-Up at the End of the Day:

Kindergarten students: 2:10 - 2:30

Primary and Junior students: 2:20 - 2:30

Those students who usually take a bus or a van will need alternative pickups today. Please email your child's teacher and ECEs with their pick-up plan for the end of the snow day as soon as you are able. Thank you!

Kindergarten pick-up, as always, requires an adult to come and get the students from the Kindergarten yard. We are not able to walk students to the parking lot for car pick-ups. The map above shows the yard - Please note, despite the map showing only the front gate, you may use either Kindergarten gate. Our class traditionally uses the back gate in the yard (facing the side of the school) but there will be staff to help if you choose to use the front gate.

For those families picking up older (primary or junior) students, their classes dismiss at the BACK of the school - see map below.

Students who walk home at the end of the day: there is no change to your usual end of day routine
