2.10 Verifying Employment / Reference Checks

All requests for employment verification or references for a current or former employee must be referred to Human Resources. No other individual may respond on behalf of NKY Health verbally or in writing to a request for verification of employment, or for references for a current or former employee.

An employee who wants NKY Health to verify any portion of his/her employment information must provide a signed release for same to Human Resources. A copy of all requests will be kept in the employee’s personnel file (see section 1.4.1) for as long as the personnel file is retained.
