Physical therapists help patients regain their range of motion, manage their pain, and help improve their quality of life after an injury. Physical therapists give hands-on treatment to their patients and help educate them on their condition. There are many specialties including cardiovascular and pulmonary, geriatrics, oncology, neurology, clinical electrophysiology, orthopedics, sports, women's health, and wound management.
Chiropractors help people who have problems with their neuromusculoskeletal system, which includes nerves, bones, muscles, ligaments, and tendons. They use clinical intervention to treat these problems. Some chiropractors have different specialties as well, including sports, neurology, orthopedics, pediatrics, and nutrition.

Radiology technicians do diagnostic research on patients using x-ray machines. Radiologists look at bones, fluids, joints, and much more. A radiologist is always on their feet and prepared to go into any kind of situation they may be needed for. Rad techs can be anywhere from taking x-rays, to being in the OR, or even in the ER. They use their knowledge of Anatomy and physiology to scan the correct part of the patient's body.

The most common name for sonography is ultrasound. Ultrasound technologists use equipment to get an inside glimpse of men, women, and children. The most common form of an ultrasound would be one taken on a pregnant woman to get a look at the fetus growing inside the uterus. Sonography comes in many forms such as gynecology, pregnancy, fetal imagery, breast imagery, cardiac, thoracic, and the skeletal system.

Registered nurses provide patient care and educate patients about various health conditions. RNs work in hospitals, home health care services, nursing homes, and physicians offices. Some also work in clinics and schools. The median annual wage for a registered nurse is about $77,600. RN's use their knowledge of A&P to help treat and care for their patients.
