Lymph is the fluid transported within lymph vessels. It includes :
Water
Dissolved Solutes
a small amount of protein
sometimes foreign material that includes both cell debris and pathogens, and perhaps metastasized cancer cells

30% of people have two spleens! Called an accessory spleen, the second spleen may even function once the original spleen is removed. For the other 70% of humans who only have one spleen: if that spleen gets removed, you can still live!
