This term in English has gone very well for many students and appears to be coming to a satisfying end. Alonzo Ramirez says that he preferred his first year in jr high English over elementary English, and all in all he thinks he had a good year. Moving up a year to eighth grade Noah Jacobsen said that it was harder than seventh grade and did a lot of projects and had to work harder. Ninth grade English was better than Eighth grade English according to Sophie Mendivil, who also has projects to do. "I like the Become the Teacher Project, it's fun". Other ninth grade activities included reading and watching adaptions of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Seventh graders did poetry and read and watched Holes and eighth grades read a lot of poems and watched the Ben Stiller version of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
